Once transferred to a computer readable format you can do so much more with your important videos and films. For example, create your own DVDs, upload clips to the internet, email to family and friends or print stills.

Windows Movie Maker

Your digital video files can be either delivered to you on a USB memory stick or you can download them directly from our online server.

Simply select the length of video you want converted and pick USB Memory Stick or FTP Download as the delivery option. After making the appropriate payment we will send you our address. Post your VHS or DVDs to us, including the completed order form with the payment reference, and we'll do the rest.

If you only want a couple of scenes from an entire tape, please position the tape a few minutes before the start of the section you require and select the appropriate duration (sorry, but I have to charge 1hr as a minimum to cover postage etc). So if you have an old VHS video recording of Great Uncle Bulgaria appearing on the News at Ten, then you can have a digital copy on your computer for £11.25.

All version of Windows since XP have either included a copy of Microsoft Movie Maker or have the free Windows Live Movie Maker available. This allows you to trim and edit your video as well as add music and titles etc. Apple Macs and even some mobile phones have FREE video editing software available.

For video playback under Windows you have the inbuilt Media Player or on newer systems Windows Media Centre. You can also download VLC which is a great little program for playing most types of audio and video. If you want to convert your video to run on a Play Station, PSP, iPhone etc, then SUPER is a Windows program which can convert most formats for FREE.
