Poor Mobile Coverage and Dropped Calls
| If like me you live in an area of the New Forest with poor mobile coverage then this may be of interest to you.
According to the Ofcom Mobile Signal Checker I live on the edge of their 3G coverage, which resulted in a lot of dropped mobile calls as I moved from room to room around the house.
Initially I tried swapping phones but the problem remained, so I investigated other options online and with radio qualified colleagues. Since installing a 900Mhz repeater a few months ago I've not had a single dropped call. |  |
